Celebrate Circles

I created this card to celebrate my favorite summer color combination! I took out all the Designer Series Papers I had that used Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, and Crushed Curry and spread them out ALL over the floor of my office and joyfully mixed and matched them. It was so much fun!

I decided to create a grid pattern with lots of layered circles. Circles are great. Circle dies were one of the first card making tools that I invested in, and they were so worth it! I use circles in so many different card layouts! Stampin’ Up! has a new set of layering circle dies that also include scalloped circles… I can’t wait to get my hands on these!

I used another favorite to add a little pop to my card… dimensionals! The center circle layer is raised up on dimensionals for extra depth.

I will be off on vacation the week of the 4th of July. I have some things to share with you while I’m gone, but I will be unable to answer any questions until I get back. I am taking all sorts of my new card making things with me on vacation that I’ve been too busy to try out yet… and I’m so excited!

For US readers: I hope you all have a wonderful holiday! For everyone: Happy Stamping!

  1. Oh, this turned out fabulously! Sounds like it was a lot of fun to make. And it would be a fabulous way to use up scraps, and mix and match patterned papers.
