This card was created for TGIF challenge #57.
I LOVE this challenge idea! What a great way to spread the love and let people know you loved what they made! I had so many favorites, it was really tough to choose…
I chose to CASE (copy and selectively edit) a card by Rochelle Blok.
Rochelle made this gorgeous (or should we say handsome) masculine-friendly congratulations card for the make-a-manly-card challenge. I love the stripes, love the layout, love the accents, love everything about this card!
I decided to change up the color scheme to make a girly version for all the female champs out there. Here is my card:
I used this gold trim on a doublet I sewed for my husband’s renaissance costume. It took hundreds of pins and hours of squinting at a sewing machine to get it looking just right. On this card, it took a couple of glue dots and a matter of moments to get it attached perfectly. This is why I paper craft instead of sew. 🙂
