Balloon Celebrations Bicycle

This card was inspired by the Paper Players challenge #293.

pp293

I had to get creative for this challenge! I didn’t have any bicycle paper or stamps or anything! I did have a couple of cute wheel-like stamps from the Balloon Celebrations stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

From there I used left over paper strips I had trimmed off the edge of a previous card to build my own bicycle! I rounded the ends of the strips, then used glue dots to stick everything together. All these tiny pieces liked to slide around as I worked with them… it was definitely NOT easy. It was worth it though!

After building the bicycle I added embellishments. The balloon and dandelion seed flowers are also stamps from Balloon Celebrations. I created the basket using the Cupcake Builder Punch from Stampin’ Up! and cut it smaller to fit on the front of this little bicycle.

Only one photo today; my camera battery died mid-photo shoot!
