I made this for my in-laws for Valentine’s Day, but it is a great card for anniversaries, weddings, and birthdays for loved ones.
First, I used Balloon Builders (c) Stampin’ Up to create the flamingos. This looks simple enough, but getting all the pieces of the flamingos lined up in the correct place was a bit of a challenge! My advice would be to start at the beak and work your way out and down. If you start at the body (like I did on my first attempt) you might find that you’ve made the flamingos too close together or too far apart for what was envisioned.
After stamping the flamingos in Watermelon Wonder and Basic Black, I fuzzy cut them out. Using dimensionals I made them pop out a bit from the background. The background is a piece of paper from the Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack (c) Stampin’ Up. Confession time: this paper actually uses very vanilla words and I put it on white cardstock. Forgive me, fellow card makers!
