This card was inspired by the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #50.
I maaaay have taken some liberties in interpreting what shape to use for the circle. Instead of a circle I used a Tyrannosaurus Rex stomping around downtown. That seemed like a lot more fun to me!
I stamped the city twice using an old set called Calling All Heroes from Stampin’ Up! One city was placed directly on the background panel and I fussy cut out the other one and popped it up on dimensionals.
The dinosaur is stamped in Watermelon Wonder and is also fussy cut. The dino comes from a set called No Bones About It, also from Stampin’ Up! The sentiment (RAWR) also comes from that set. I used a Post-It to cover up the rest of the sentiment. Luckily I didn’t have to fussy cut the word bubble, there’s a framelit for that! The set is called, logically enough, Word Bubble Framelit Dies.
This would make a great birthday card for a kid… or if your adult friends are anything like mine, they would also enjoy a dinosaur card!
Tip: A Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker works great to darken stamped images if you want them really, really black and don’t mind spenind a little extra effort coloring.
